Spatial planning a scientific matter with a spatial and regional approach in understanding the capabilities of development with regard to spatial capabilities. One of the spatial capabilities under investigation is the tourism capability of each region and it uses it as a strategy to respond to economic problems. Therefore, the purpose of the current research is to measure and rank the tourism capacity of rural areas with the land improvement approach (case study: villages in the sample tourism areas of Kamfirouz district of Marvdasht city). This research is of an applied type and the method of doing it is descriptive, analytical and survey, and for this purpose, two library and field methods were used to achieve the goals of the research. The statistical population of this research is 142 people who were selected as a sample size and were studied and evaluated in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis has also been done using SAW multi-criteria decision making method. The results of this research showed that despite the abundance of tourist attractions, the villages in question do not have a good condition in infrastructure-service and policy-institutional criteria. In this ranking, the villages of Mahjan Abad, Mengan, Khajaei, Abbad, Shul Bozorg and Bimur had a better condition than other villages in all indicators and were ranked first to sixth. It seems that the studied villages need more attention from the relevant officials and workers in terms of welfare and infrastructure services.
