Introduction: Local sustainable management of rural waste is an important issue in the field of environment, which deals with the improvement of methods and processes related to the collection, disposal and recycling of waste in villages and villages. In the case of the present study, the case of analysis is Dozaj village in Kharghan section of Zarandieh city.
Materials and methods: This research will be done quantitatively. The sample size using Cochran's formula, 283 people were selected as the sample size of the research, which were selected by random sampling method. Library studies and field observations will be used to collect information.
Result: Based on the information presented, it can be concluded that the local waste management system promotes sustainable management practices in the rural areas of Dozej district of Kharghan city. This system shows accountability and transparency in its operations and decision-making processes. It generates enough revenue to cover its costs, encourages entrepreneurship and innovation in waste-related businesses, and contributes to local economic development and job creation. It also reduces the financial burden of households and businesses in waste management.
Conclusion: The results show that sustainable waste management is very important for the long-term prosperity of rural communities. The local waste management system in Dozaj district, Kharghan city, shows the positive effect of comprehensive waste management practices. By addressing social, economic and environmental aspects, this system helps to empower society, economic growth and preserve the environment.
